Biography

Mr. Afaq Ali Muluk is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Economics. He is the founding Head of Economics Department and he also remained as the Deputy Controller Examinations (Secrecy) at the University of Chitral. Mr. Afaq holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Economics from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan, and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Economics from the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Pakistan. Before joining the University of Chitral, he was a faculty member at Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, Pakistan, and taught several courses in Economics at graduate and undergraduate levels. He was also affiliated with Higher Education Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan as a lecturer and was posted at Government College, Chitral, Pakistan. His research interests include Development Economics, Energy Economics, Rural Development and Poverty Dynamics.
