Biography

Ms. Nahida Noor has been teaching at University of Chitral since October, 2017. She also works as Program and Exam Coordinator at the department of Economics. She has additional responsibilities as Manager University Industry Linkages and Technology Transfer in ORIC and Facilitator of Women Empowerment Center, University of Chitral. Ms. Noor holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Economics from Forman Christian College Lahore, Pakistan, and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Economics from Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar, Pakistan. Prior to this, she has worked as Research Associate at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar. She has administrative experiences as well. She worked at Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar for over a year. She has also served as Manager Student Affairs at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT board Project executed by Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar. She has taught various courses including Microeconomics, Mathematical Economics, Environmental Economics, Industrial Organization, International Economics, Econometrics, Research Methods, Statistical Economics, and Issues in Pakistan Economy. Ms. Noor has developed a research interest in Behavioral Economics, Consumer Behavior, Health Economics and Microeconomics
