Ms . Samia Manan is Lecturer in Economics at the University of Chitral.
She holds M.Phil Degree in Economics from School of Economics Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, MSc in Economics from the same institution and B.Com from the University of Punjab (with distinctions). Prior to her appointment at UoCh she served as Visiting Faculty of Economics at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (Bacha Khan Campus Chitral) and Lecturer at Govt. Viqar-un-Nisa Post Graduate College for Women, Rawalpindi.
Her current research examines role of entrepreneurship and finance in economic growth.
